Hmm..... I could wire up a switch to the fans. Excellent idea! Now I just have to be inclined to take the tester apart again.

While it's nice to have a system stay quiet all the time - some power supplies that are mute scare me. :Q With the fans crawling under heavy loads even 105°C caps are getting close to the danger zone. The rectifiers and FETs are usually OK but I'd rather have things ramp up a little under the heaviest load than have something blow up.

Concerning lying and making up things along with somebody calling for somebody to be banned just because they have a differing opinion!!

true-- no denying that that`s a fact and I gladly served my time!!
BTW - it was not the first time I had been banned!! The difference betwen P&N and other areas on this site is the MOD`s try to run a very tight ship over there because of the nature of talking about Politics and current events!!
In other areas the Mods allow for some leeway.....not much but some!
yet -- you on the other hand have drawn the attention of the mods to have to add moderator comments to several of your posts...need I go on?
Probably not I believe you understand that since we both are over 50 years old....in fact your older than I am...by quite a bit....that we both look stoopid arguing like 2 little kids.
