There is a form to fill out at Newegg's site for stocking requests.

Well, I will make a request also then. If Newegg doesn't sell it, How are we to know if it even actually exists.

As for the M-12, I'm not sure which would be a better choice; it or the Corsair.
I realize they are basically the same PSU at nearly the same price, but the M-12 comes with standard sleeved cables, while the Corsair has the ribbon style cables. Not sure which would be better for routing, but my guess is the ribbon style cables. Thoughts?

Thursday I was at Fry's in Burbank, CA - saw the 700W M12. An awesome beast, modular, etc. It was on the shelf for $189.95. I am now home in Tucson, and I checked Newegg. Same M12 goes for $209.95 plus shipping. I should have bought at Fry's but I thought NE would be cheaper. Lesson learned. Yeah - there is sales tax of $15.67. $189.95+$15.67= 205.62. Newegg with shipping = $209.99+$8.48 = $218.47. That is $12.85 more than Fry's w/o immediate possession. Moral of the story - check out local prices before going to Newegg.

I have shopped at eWiz before and they are very quick, efficient and deliver the product. I can recommend them based on my experience but others may say otherwise.

Ewiz seems to be fine until you need to RMA something, then you are in trouble. If you look at reviews, there is a very familar theme among the negative ones.

Doesn`t mean its a high quality PSU....
Doesn`t mean the workmanshup is superior....
Doesn`t mean 6 months or a year from now it won`t go out on you.....

There are alot of myth`s associated with having an 80% efficient PSU that just cannot be assumed to be true.....

I will even go one further and say thats even true of my particluar brand of PSU.....
Yet some brands regardless of bring rebadged or not have track records that speak for themselves!

Look at the reviews on RR. If you don't have to return it or cancel your order, they are fine. But if you happen to get one that's DOA or something that causes you to need an RMA, or just have any issues with the order that requires you to contact them for help...........good luck.

Are the Seasonics really that good? That 600W actually costs more than the PCP&C 610W one, which I would prefer for its single 12V rail if nothing else.

I don't know if they're "all that great" yet. But I bet the Seasonic doesn't actually have three rails. I found out with the Corsair and Antec Trio that the three 12V rails are fake. There's no separation of the circuit that I can find (beyond being soldered down at different points of the PCB) and there's no OCP. I don't know why the M12 would be any different.

I wanna see a JonnyGURU review of the new Seasonic! I got a question. Model for model which is more quiet? Seasonic or Enhance? I'm not real familiar with Enhance units. My Seasonic S12 is very quiet. I'm looking to get a 700w-750w unit in my next build.

I would guess that seasonic is slightly quieter, just because they use a quieter fan. The enhance and the seasonic should both be very quiet becasue of their great efficiancy ratings, and most reviews say that they are excellent on noise. The enhance use adda fans while the seasonics use yate loons if I'm not mistaken.

For quiet the Seasonic will perform better than the Enhance 80Plus units.

Read reviews at SPCR and you will find that Seasonic's thermal fan control is much more sophisticated.
Most PSUs ramp thier fans up too early

They both use Adda fans.

The Seasonic is quieter because it uses a better fan controller and is slightly more efficient.

Check it out. Halfway down. It's a 2005 review though, have they changed they're fans? (only review I could find that opened up the psu.

Yeah, they changed fans, the Tornado used the Yate Loon while the S12 made the swtich to the Adda.

If you look around you'll find plenty of pics of S12's Adda fan or the new Corsair unit.

I openend up the last S12 I got in and it indeed uses a Adda fan along with Panasonic, Chemi-con, and Rubycon caps, yay .

Geez these prices for psu's are getting up there, im gonna have to find a case that accepts 2 psu's. 1 will power the gpu(s) and the other the rest, seems like a much better alternative then 1 mighty expensive psu.

the m12 use nippon/chemicon caps, are panasonic caps any good? Didn't know they used rubycon either. Who else uses panasonic and rubycon?

Zippy/Emacs and Delta PSUs use RubyCon and United ChemiCon. NipponChemiCon are good'ens too.
Some of the small non-stressed caps in Zippy units maybe CapXon.

Pretty much everything Panasonic makes is good, so yes their caps are some of the best.

I've seen plenty of Rubycon and Panasonic on motherboards but not in any other PSUs, but I'm sure there are other high-end units use them.

The bulk caps in both my Zippys are RubyCon and all the rest are UCC with a few small CapXon.
I opened the PSUs up and saw them with my own eye-balls.
Nipponese caps add about $5~$10 to the cost of a PSU's build.

NOTE: Enhance uses all Teapo caps.

These M12 Seasonics seem a bit too expensive to me for what they are though. I mean, they're getting beaten by PCP&C on pricing.
