Do you own the Seasonic G-750 gold among the Seasonics you have? What has been your experience with it? I have no doubt that the 760 platinum is the better of the two, but isn't the G-750 gold just a slight step down in quality/performance in comparison, especially at the current prices of 170 vs 100?
Well I mine coins more then anything else. The plat allows me to come closer to overloading the psu then the gold. But my power draw is constant no up and down like a gamer.
I can pull 610 watts 24/7/365 on the plat 760
that is 1 and 1/2 antminer s-1s so 2 plats will do 3 s-1s on over clock.
I got the plats cheap on rebate deals. under 100 bucks each.
if I ran the golds I can't run 1 1/2 at 610 watts it pulls 636 watts and after a day they beep (overload warning)
So 2 plats will do 3 antminer s-1's over clocked to 200gh each. and pull 610+610 watts
2 golds will do 3 antminer s-1's normal clock only 180gh each. and pull 590 + 590 watts
so 600 gh 1220 watts vs 540gh at 1180 watts makes the plats better even at the no sale price.
If you game the gold is the better deal since high steady load is not what you do.
The op should look for a corsair on sale

I would argue this is better it is an 850 watt 119 after prom code and rebate.
and I want to say it is the same as the 850 watt seasonic.
not sure about that maybe someone else can confirm that.
