Wow, tempting. How does this compare to, say, an EVGA G1+ Gold 650W? (Bought two of those for $59.99 on ebay, they were sold out of the 750W models at the time, but those were the same price.)

I haven't used them yet, could always re-sell or find a use for them, I suppose, if I were to get a pair of these units.

They are a little better than the EVGA G1+ lineup. The G1+ isn't horrible by any means, but it's EVGA's mid range unit made by FSP. At the same price, I'd personally go with the Seasonic Focus Plus.

When EVGA launched the G1+, they had them priced way too high (often near the price of their G3 line which is a superior unit made by Super Flower). The G1+ must have not sold very well priced that high (as they shouldn't have), so EVGA really dropped the price on them with instant rebates and such. At their current price points, they would be a decent choice over some of the other competitors out there.
