I have the 460w model. Got it for $70 on sale at newegg last year. Well I installed it in my sisters HTPC. I actually had to mod the case to make it work. These units require the PSU to vent upward.

It's been running constantly since Dec, without issue. It doesn't have a hot case though as the CPU and VC are both watercooled, although it does vent into the radiator.

All in all a good unit.

fanless psu, you're just asking for it, down the line. Not bashing the deal, just everyone beeee careful. :D

For example, if you live in India...

Not necessarily, at 400w, it won't be a powerful system anyway. Can even have a fanless ati 7770 and be fine, to complete its purpose, being a quiet system.

Nah. Check Jg's review of this at 50c. You do need to make sure there is ventilation but these things are rock solid. However, the fanless versions are sort of pointless since the regular version of the x series keep the fans off until a certain load level. I have the x750 and its essentially silent.

I'm thinking of getting this but the bitfenix prodigy is not available yet and I'm 48 and i hate children.
