His name is Ted.

edit: I'm referring to the lawyer. I cut the quote stream a bit too early. :)

That's exactly who I'm talking about. I guess I cut too much of the quote off (but the quote stream was getting too long).

Ted is the lawyer.

I love this show!

I don't think that the Janitor has a name. In the IMDb he's listed as "Janitor". Maybe they'll give us his name one day. :)

I thought on the episode where he was reading newbie's journal, he said to J.D., you don't even know my name, do you? I thought he said what it was after that. Maybe I'm mistaken.

Was it just me or was something going on with Dr. Turks teeth? The two middle ones seemed too big and I don't remember noticing this last season.

In the 1 day of TV time between last year's finale and this year's premiere, he shaved his moustache and Cox grew his hair out. MAGIC! :)

I'd never seen the show before, but happened to watch it after my sister taped all of Thursday night for my mom. I thought it was hysterical. If that wasn't that good, then I'm definitely taping the show from now on. Oh yea, Colin Ray is the real guy from Men at Work. As I watched the tape, I paused it to come look for the song title.

I think I remember what you are talking about but I don't remember if he said it or not. I thought that if they had ever given his name that it would be listed on the IMDB but they don't have it.

Glad you watched the show and that you liked it. Last season't finale was the funniest episode in my opinion. The show is great! :)

actually, jd says "the nurses call you sir plunge-a-lot." that's the closest we've gotten so far. but i like how they haven't made a big deal out of it, he just doesn't have a name and they don't sidestep it... kinda cool.

It was still funny the 3rd and 4th time the janitor sprayed JD's pants :D

...and I loved that children's story that Dr. Cox told. I wish I remembered how it went...

From IMDB:
The character of the janitor, played by Neil Flynn, is listed simply as "Janitor" in the credits. However, in one episode, he tells J.D. his name--Neil Flynn.

Of course you can. I was just saying, there were a lot of decisions made about appearance changes in that one day. ;)

i realize how old i am at times like this while all the pups are asking what song it was and who sings it. you should really check out Colin Hay's solo stuff. very good. also, and surely you know this, Men at Work was also terrific. Colin Hay also was a guest star on one of my favorite episodes of "The Larry Sanders Show."
