SEARS OPTICAL WARNING

There may be a widespread problem with the supplier of lenses for Sears optical. They all go through the same supplier, and there may be a problem with the accuracy of the prescription in the lenses. OR, Sears optical may just suck. Be warned though, if you go to Sears Optical for glasses, and you are not happy with them, some Sears Optical Stores will not refund the fees for the eye exam, even though the reciept says "satisfaction guarenteed".
I personally experienced a problem with my glasses not being the right prescription, and Sears did not offer to correct them, nor would they refund the cost of the eye exam. Just by chance, a co-worker also had the same problem with eyeglasses from Sears not meeting her satisfaction, and she went to a different Sears Optical. A call to the corperate office 1-877-486-6486, confirmed that all Sears Optical centers get their lenses from the same supplier.

SO PLEASE HAVE YOU GLASSES CHECKED IF YOU BOUGHT THEM FROM SEARS, ESPECIALLY IF YOU BOUGHT GLASSES FOR YOUR CHILDREN!!! AND CONTACT THEIR CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS AT 1-877-486-6486 AND REPORT YOUR PROBLEM TO THEM IF YOU HAVE ONE!!!

Seems like a major overreaction here.

All companies mess up on prescriptions on occasion (Consumer Reports did a study once and found some very widespread problems, much worse in some companies than others). They should refund the bad lenses. Did Sears refund your bad lenses? But they should not have to refund the exam if the exam results were correct.

Edit: Nevermind. It looks like all threads you create are overreactions. Yes, it is ok to be angry. But your anger seems far too much for simple problems.
