We bought a bunch of other christmas presents. Plus why pay it all upfront when I can wait three months and pay it off with no interest?

I couldn't find any freakin' deals on anything! Hardly any tools were on sale, except for huge sets. Overall, it pretty much sucked! :(

I noticed that too. I was hoping to pick up a socket set, but didn't want to layout $100+ today on myself. Instead the woman and I decided to get Christmas shopping done.

We were also able to pick up a 6ft artificial christmas tree for $29.99 - 20%.

This is the one thing I know my wife is picking up. $159 - $20 = $139

I grabbed a Rowenta Professional Luxe DM880 Iron on sale for $99.00, minus my son's discount. How would you like that for a Christmas present? Hell, I looked all over and couldn't find anything worth a damn. Grabbed myself a couple sets of 1/4" drive sockets, some Lands'End pants and a few other things. Very disappointing...

I don't iron nuthin'. My wife's the one with the frilly clothes that needs ironing and special washing care.

The only iron we have, is one that my grandmother left after she died. It's barely OK. No doubt this new iron will last forever. If she doesn't like it, she can return it. Just had to buy something after all that wandering around...
