ok i have a lot of HTML Document and i need to search for specific words in those documents. it works fine when i use the built in search function for windows xp but when i try it on my other windows xp, it does not work. Is there a option to enable this somehow?

in FIREFOX its reall easy to search for your specific words in an html document, IMO its much cleaner than internet explorer

The search functions in XP and IE really suck. The XP file searcher's in-text search does not work correctly, and in IE you must select the correct element for it to find what you're looking for. Use Agent Ransack, and FireFox or Opera respectively.

well, on my other compuer, it works just fine. btw, i dont really want to install more software on my computer. any help?

Did you read the link I posted? It gives specific instructions on how to enable search indexing for all file types.
