Searching newsgroups

[MustISO]

I used to have a link to a site that would search all the newsgroups for something and then tell you which group had it. Anyone have this link?

Some newsgroup providers have search functions on their servers. I plug in words or phrases and select which group(s) I want to check. Then, I get returned all the headers with my search criteria filled. Much faster than grabbing all the headers in a group if you know what you want.

i too use www.binaries.nl .... i don't think is searches a lot of groups, but whatever...

It's so good that you can't even access the website. 😛

Edit: It's back up now. Looks cool but it costs money. I'll stick with the Easynews Global Search.
