searching for your own posts

say i reply to a post in a thread that later turns out to be 15 pages long. my post ended up in page 9. i forget when i posted and what page my post was on. i want to go back directly to my post. is there a way to do this?

i always have to end up searching every page from the beginning for my post and its very annoying.
 
Expand your settings for more posts per page.

You will still have to search, however, there will be less pages to step through.
 
That would be a useful feature. I've been on forums that do return all the pages you posted to, but I can't remember which forums.

Seems like it would only help the forums by cutting down on bandwidth usage from less searching.
