Searching for laptop ~1500

Ive been looking for laptops for a long time, but have not found what im really looking for. I decided to come here for help on my choice. I am looking for a laptop costing around 1500 dallers. I want a 128 or even a 256 mb graphics card if possible. Battery life does not matter. I dont mind having 512 or less memory cause ill buy mem from newegg. around 1 gig is what im looking for.

Im guessing i need a 15.4 or 17 incher cause of cooling for graphics card.

Also...is there anyway i can buy from major companies without using credit cards? I could use paypal or even a check but i dont have a credit card.

or go barebones somewhere, but this ends up cheaper and they don't screw you with the dvd drive.

you can try to get credit from dell and hp and newegg and pay that way too, if you are approved
