That article made me remember the words of a high school teacher:?mathematican and chess players are usually idiot savants and borderline psychotics?

[pretty off topic, sorry] i just saw this post, and thought to myself, "hey, i hardly know anything about bobby fischer". all i really knew was that he was a chess player back in the day, and my dad has the book Bobby Fischer Teaches Chess.

well after a couple minutes of quick research...wow. I learned a lot. First and foremost, the guy is now a huge anti semitic. not cool. He totally hates the US and everything about it, and also he's like wanted by the US because he agreed to play chess w/ some guy from serbia or yugoslavia or something for money. wierd stuff, i never knew any of that. just thought maybe people cared...

yeah, I found out a while ago that he was a big bigot and jerkoff... really amazing.. I used to admire the guy... but that was just for his chess days.
