searching for a tablet

im looking into the purchase of a centrino based slate tablet with a powerful graphics processor but my researching hasnt found any options. most of the hardware i find is either a centrino tablet with intergrated grahpics or a centrino laptop with a geforce go or radeon mobile.

does anybody know of any tablets, specifically a slate style, with a higher preformance class graphic chip?

im starting to think it may be to early to look for such a tablet. maybe when the new pentium m's come out?

eventually i hope to see wuxga + centrino tablet, but when?

knowing go-l, once their tablet it available, it will fit the bill.

personally, i think you will have to wait a VERY long time. tablets are meant to be small and light and portable. their gimmick is that they are small and you can write on them. adding widescreen and powerful video cards probably cut into the size factor and probably the heat too. they are not meant to go together, really.

btw, im looking at the toshiba portege http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?product_code=311251&pfp=SEARCH you probably already saw it. it is a notebook with a "flippable" screen, includes centrino and geforce fx go 5200 32mb.

There is 1 tablet that I know of with it's own GPU: Compaq TC1100. It has the Geforce4 Go 440 with 32MB.
