I have a geforce2 ultra 64mb card and the fan has been increasing in age and noise. I've searched around here and have found the Zalman ZM17-CU (I won't spend more than $20 on this old card). I'm not certain if it will fit, as the tv out "might" be in the way? Or maybe there's a better option, my case is well ventilated with low speed fans.

I used a Crystal Orb for a time and it didn't seem too loud, on my GF2 GTS. If you put a big enough heatsink on, you may not need a fan.

The ZM17-CU apparently needs a fan set up for anything over a Geforce 256. Naturally Zalman says to use their specific type, since it attaches to the PCI backplate and not the cooler itself.

ya, and that comes out to about the price of their heat pipe plus taking up a pci slot also. I just wanted to hold out longer for a couple months and get a 9500/9700pro after the 9800s are out more.

So does anyone thing this Zalman would be ok? My case is an antec 1040(big grill on the front), 3 18cfm fans in front and 2 fans in back variable speed. So great ventillation and the pci slot under it is not used. I can't see any problem with it myself, anyone see otherwise?
