Search thread, view last page = blank

I don't know if this has been posted before, but if you search for a multi-page thread, and it comes up in the results, and you click on the link for the last page, you don't get to the thread, but rather get to a blank page. It's happened on 4 or 5 threads I've tested it on now.

Again, if this is a known thing, ignore this, but I haven't seen it in here before.

The user settings may not always match up with the internal settings of the page "retrieval".

It would be nice if the "retrieval" mechanism could check the user preferences when rendering the pages.

It shows up depending on how one uses the search.

That happens to me a lot in the Official Canucks thread. I think it has something to do with thread size.

Are you logged in? Are they threads with exact multiples of your threads per page? No bug here - I just tried on 10 random threads in different forums and they all worked for me.

Results from a search for "last Page" in Forum Issues, threads older than 90 fdays (no one's mentioned it in over ninety days).
page "1,2,last" issues

last page = blank page?

why, when i click "last" doent it go to the last page in the thread? UPDATE:example inside

"Last" link takes me to a blank page

There are two times that it happens to me (both as as Allison pointed out).

1. When I'm not logged in. The last page almost never works.
2. Once (but once only) when the # of posts equal a multiple of your posts per page. Even then, it usually works for me.

It will almost always happen when your topics/page is greater than the default and also greater than the number of hits returned. via the search.
