Search problem

I thought if you subscribed, you can search the forum's archives.

I'm looking for an old school thread I posted a while ago, but the search only goes back to October?!?

What gives?

Did you change the search options to search Archived messages?

Maybe you just missed the next button. I found 19 pages x 100 of threads you posted to dated back to July 2000.

The search searches back to May 2000 🙂 You just aren't searching properly, ensure you select archived messages in the search screen

I am only pulling up archived General Hardware search results for my name that were posted after 07/01/2000. I have lost 9+ months! 🙂

Thats correct, as some data was removed back then, some time in early 2000 the database got corrupted and some stuff was removed due to fragmentation. But, that doesn't change the point, there is way more than just this october in the database, far far more 🙂

The earliest thread in the db was about May of 2000.

Yup, definitely didn't see that whole "archived messages" selection!
