Search not working for in body text... Am I doing something wrong?

I have a thread in the FS/FT forum and I did a search in "Body" for "Heroes Of Might" because I was looking for the new Heroes Of Might and Magic IV and notice my thread which has III list FS didn't show up.

BTW I also tried "Title or Body" and got no results from it either.

Thanks,
Carl

Using what parameters?

Carl, might try searching for "Might" -and- "Magic" in title or body.

As well as what is said below ---v

don't forget to check what forum(s) you want it to search as well... at the bottom of the search page.

I would also like to know how to do full text searches. Do I have to enable it somewhere?
It doesn't show up under 'advanced'.

And yes, I am a subscriber.

edit-- Maybe it's automatically turned on? and I'm not getting any results for the above search either...hmmm...

Yes, the full-text search is automatic (provided you are logged into the subscriber servers and go to the "Search" page).

Would be nice if you could search all forums and not just the ones you have visible.... but I digress.

edit: for the heck of it, I went through and tried some different combinations.

Searching Body, Title, and Title OR Body for "Heroes of Might" brought 0 results

Interestingly enough, searching Title OR Body for "Heroes" AND "Might" gave the following error: "Your search contained ignored words, ignored words are words like "a,and,to,between". Please re-construct your search without these ignored words".

Might be nice to have a short FAQ on how the search function is setup.
