Search not defaulting to referer forum

Did the search page get bungled during the upgrade? It used to be that if you where in say General Hardware then went to the search page it only picked General Hardware to search. However it now always selects all forums.

I think it's been that way for a while. At least it doesn't seem any different lately. I do remember a time that it acted in the manner you describe but I'm pretty sure that was changed some time back. However, I don't use the search all that much so can't tell you when.

As far as I can remember, it worked as the OP described until this upgrade. My thought is that they probably removed that (rather useful, IMHO) feature because there is now a search box at the top of each category.

Still would be nice; I wouldn't mind seeing it back in the next build (hint, hint). 😉

That new search is only useful if you're doing a keyword search. If you wanna find all the threads you or someone else posted to it's pretty useless. (I always use search to find all the threads I posted to yesterday to see which died and which kept going. Saves time.)

So Zuni/Mods/whoever what's the word?
