Search Issues

I've got an FS/FT thread. My first post therefore has all kinds of "keywords" in it. Does this 1st post not count in the search algorithm?

If I search for "DVD" and put my name in the author field, my FS/FT thread does not show up. Am I doing something wrong?

No, apparently not, and don't even try to search for updates as to when it will be fixed. 😛

I believe the search is broken because the thread contents are not being indexed. Basically, the only words you can search for are ones in the titles of threads, as Quick Search in the sidebar still brings those up.

For some reason, I think you can use Author to search for all threads you've posted in, but you'll never be able to find the exact post.

Search for the title and it will work. Only the title and summary search (either in the pull down menu or on the top of the forums) works.
