Not too long ago I was all worried that I had noticed someone accessing my server but couldn't find where the person had been by doing a search on the log files.
Same thing happened today. BUT, this time I used Webtrends to analyse the logs and I found the IP in question.
So I went back to the specific log folder and did another search for the IP address. I got a few answers but none for today.
That must mean that Windows Explorer does not search thru open(same day) log files.
Is my logic right? Do you know why that happens? Any other way around it?
