hey...this is a continuation of an earlier post with some updates. I'm looking for colleges with good compSci programs and high-tech campuses. If anyone could throw up a link/info on a school that they think fits these specs, I'd appreciate it. Here's a list of the schools that I'm now getting info on:

Bently
Georgia Inst. of Technology
Worcester Polytech Institute
Wentworth Institute of Technology
Clemson
Carnegie Mellon thx tomcat
Rochester Institute of Technology thx Smiz
Rensselaer Polytech Institute thx Capn
TCU thx DaveJ

<EDIT>: PSAT's are ~1200 and GPA is 2.95 ATM.

Also, I'm not taking a chemistry course, and I don't plan on it [computer electronics instead]. If this is really going to hurt me in my search for a school, please let me know! thx for the help/input.

Don't come to JHU is all I can say :) (not for CS at least)

University of Wisconsin, Washintion University in St. Louis, and Cooper Union in NYC (free tuition) are some that come to mind...

good luck

Purdue has a good CEE (computer & electrical eng.) program, and is not that hard to get in.

Carnegie Mellon, like all schools, will probably have statistics regarding their students' GPAs/SAT scores listed on their website. Your guidance counselor probably has a big ass book w/ that sort of information too. I know mine does, and my school sucks :)
