Search for partial wordls

Thanks for updating the search features. It makes many searches better. There was a feature that I really liked that no longer seems to be there, searching for partial words. For example, if I was searching for RAM in the FS/FT forum, I would type 'PC2' as my search. it would then return threads for PC2100, PC2700, and so one. Is this type of search still available? If so, how do I access it?
 
You can still search for PC2, it will find matches based on that. It's all fulltext based now, so think google... similar concept.

if enough people want the quick side searches to go back to just doing plain LIKE's thats a possibility, but it will be a crap shoot based search like before. With like it just finds a match on message title, and does not look at the content of the messages...
