Any chance you can fix the query your doing for the search to allow the " character? (or tell me a secret to make it work?). I was trying to search the for/sale forum for 21" monitors. When searching for 21" the search comes back empty, searching for just 21 returns the right results along with LOTS of additonal things (XP2100+, PC2100, Price Drop 4/21, etc). I look for monitor deals often enough that I've ran into this a couple of times, these time I thought I'd take the time to document it incase you never noticed.

Nope, its an illegal character in almost any full text system. Full text systems are based on words. Anything under 4 characters is ignored, numbers, to, the,he, she. It's phrase based.
