Search Engines Broke

Ok so there have been maybe 3-4 computers in my company that have had a search engine problem. I have tried everything I can think of with virus scans and what not but haven't figured it out. It's the same thing with all seach engines, you try to search but it comes back with nothing. Any ideas?

Make sure the computers don't have a bad (or blank) proxy setting. In Internet Explorer (or the Internet Options applet in the Control Panel) click on Tools>Internet Options, click the Connections tab, then click the LAN Settings button. If you don't use a proxy on your network, remove the check from the "Use a proxy" box. If you do use a proxy, make sure the proxy address is correct.
