We added some new features to the search engine for the forums, you can now your boolean operators when performing a search query. Searching the archives is also now just an option in the main search so the 2 search forms were put into one. Enjoy.

The boolean operators aren't returning proper results. Search for something like "Asus" AND "45x", the engine will return threads that contain "Asus" OR "45x".

None of the threads returned actually contained both the words "asus" and "45x", which is the whole point of the AND operator.

Actually he is not it works fine, the boolean search only works when searching body really properly as titles aren't a full text field. I just tried it about thirty times and it works fine.. i searched for intel and coppermine in the cpu category and plenty of messages where there with that match.. remember if it finds a message with that criteria the entire thread comes back.

What oneeighty doesn't understand is that one message in a thread that met the match IS a match as a message belongs to a thread.
