I went to "advanced search" and put in a couple keywords in the box that says "All of these words." I put in two words KNOWN to be in a particular post, yet the search results returned absolutely nothing. Any ideas?

Suck it up. 🙂 That's what the rest of us have done for a long time. Simple search seems to work for titles. In advanced search, "title or body" is pretty useless. It doesn't seem to be a high priority fix.🙁 Good luck!
PS: none of the threads listed below show up under advanced search, title or body, "search", forum issues, current messages.

So, how does the search "work"?

If you're looking for something very specific, using a google search (w/ site:forums.anandtech.com) will usually find it, if the post isn't too recent.
