Sean Payton new head coach of the Raiders

He agreed to 4 year $5.2 million deal. Sean Payton was assistant head coach, qb coach of the Cowboys this year. Prior to that, he was offensive coordinator of NY Giants. Giants offense was highly ineffective prior to Fassel taking play calling duties away from him.

Why wait for Romeo Crennel, or go after Charlie Weis. Maybe Jim Fassel or another experienced coach, when you can sign a lame duck O-coordinator for the job? brilliant!
