October 11th, i will be accepting the award of Eagle Scout at a ceremony held at the local library meeting room.
I dont know of timings, but I know that at some point (near the end), i am supposed to give a speech. i'm terrible at public speaking, though... so it's not a point I really look forward to.
(well, that, and you're supposed to give your mother a kiss which is also not a point i look forward to. especially since she hasnt helped at all in my scouting career)
anyway, this leaves me with the terrible duty of selecting my honor guard to escort me to the stage, and having to write yet another speech.
any ideas on subjects?
