Seamless Switch between Wired and Wireless

Sometimes I want my computer (laptop) to be connected through the Ethernet port so I can do file transfers between my computer. But is there a way that I can disconnect it from the Ethernet port and connect Wireless network without any drop in for example a VoiP call?
 
What if you bridged the 2 connections? (never tried this, the connection will probably die when you unplug the cable 🙂)
