Sam's Club in Henderson, NV didn't have the correct prices when they rang up my Cal King, but after some discussion, I received the set for $351. It is the Serta Northstar Luminesce Pillowtop. Great Deal. Had a good night sleep last night. :) THanks OP. They didn't have many other Luminesce models, but had a bunch of Brilliance ones. I think the Luminesce are better since it was the only pillowtop.

Tried in Tallahassee - general manager said they weren't on sale and they weren't going to be. :( I'll keep checking, though, because I've heard that same story before and it turned out not to be true.

This is an amazing deal if you can find it!

As for the model names if you're comparing between stores, it won't matter about the name. They seem to name mattresses differently depending on what store you shop at. You need to look at the spring count and composition of the mattress to determine which ones are the same between Sit'n'Sleep and Costco, for instance... at least, that's how it was for me.

I checked the store in Ypsilanti, MI but no deal. Still had the regular prices and was told they were correct. I even spotted some sold orders waiting to be picked up and saw they rang up at full price.

I called my local Sam's Club and spoke with a manager. He told me that they were starting to change their inventory supply chain. All matress/boxspring sets are to be reduced by 50% Friday-Sunday to clear remaining stock. I don't have a membership, but this sure is tempting. This looks like it's nationwide.

you can get a "day-pass" to shop at Sams Club. They will charge you 5% (IIRC...could be 10%) of what the cost of the item you purchase is for the day pass.

Either way, $35 for a membership isn't too bad to save 50% on a mattress set. I have had my set since last friday, and I love it.

The upcharge is 10% for the "1 day pass".

What is Sam's policy on price drops? Like...if I buy one today because the selection is good and they go on sale tomorrow, would they honor the lower price and refund me the difference? Just wondering if anyone has tried this...I think I'm going to.

The Tallahassee general manager told me at the beginning of this week that these weren't on sale, that they wouldn't be going on sale, that they would stay the price they were until they were gone.

Today I went and, what do you know, they're on sale. The clerk said they got the notice this morning. Got the king plush set (398075) for $282.xx and the full firm (448321) for $189.xx.

Thanks TitansFury for saving me about $500!

The new Bakersfield Sam's doesn't have this special. They already have the new stock of mattresses when the store opened.
