Sealed mechanical keyboard

Does anyone here use a sealed keyboard? I am kind of a neat freak at my desk and would like to get something that is easier to keep clean... In spite of the cost, I am considering this keybord here (TG3 TG103R-BNURUS Backlit Washable Keyboard with Numberpad).

Anyone know anything better, or have any experience with sealed keyboards?

try looking at sealshield keyboards, all are waterproof from what I know. I've heard good things about them but never used one. That's the best advise I have for you

If you don't want to wait as long, or don't feel comfortable putting electronics in the dishwasher, you can open the keyboard up and remove the circuit board.

The button press distance on sealed keyboards is probably short and may require more actuation force, so typing might feel weird and will probably be slower than on a normal keyboard.

Furthermore, most sealed keyboards probably use dome gel buttons.
For that kind of budget I'd want a mechanical keyboard, but that wouldn't solve the cleaning issue 🙁.

Interesting follow-up on this. I called the place selling them the other day to find out what kind of mechanical switches they use on this model. I heard back from them today and was told it actually does NOT have mechanical switches, and they will be updating the website shortly...

Sounds like either a GROSS error, or a scam...

In light of that, does anyone know of an actual sealed mechanical keyboard?

Having a sealed keyboard may not be a requirement. The old IBM keyboards could be simply hosed off, allowed to dry and then work flawlessly. Many writers back in the day would talk about how they brought them into the shower to rinse off.
