I picked up the Seagate STCA3000600 3 TB Backup Plus @ Costco last month during one of their $99 sales and I still haven't opened the box yet. Many have said they've gotten the STCA3000101. The one I purchased says it's made and assembled in China. I've read recommendations that state to only buy the Seagate's that are made in Thailand.

Does anyone know anything about the STCA3000600? I can't find anything on this forum and
not much else in a Google search.
 
You get what you payed for. Oh and seagate and maxtor are joined forces I would avoid this imo. Grab a WD and youll feel better about yourself.
