Ok, recently my pc died out and it'll be some time until I get a new one. So I have very important info and I'm trying to acess its OS hard drive through my laptop somehow..

this is the hard drive, http://www.amazon.com/Seagate-...da-Ultra/dp/B0000A576D

I believe its a ATA...

I saw in another topic that you could use some USB adapters/devices to make this possible, I saw this in particalar in that topic http://www.shop4tech.com/item5...y9DOyYcof7ZLUwjZ0aAgBg

Now what I'm wondering is, if I could acess the files with this device, hooked through USB? Keep in mind, its my OS drive, so the windows user profiles are password'ed(technicaly the ones with the files I want), So would it matter anyway? Would I be able to get my files or what are the steps?

Thanks in advance.

Excellent, so thats the only thing I need then?. Once I get that and plug it in, will I get any problem since its a OS drive?

thanks!
