Seagate SATA-150 7200 300GB No NTFS?

I just bought a Sata 150 7200 300GB drive (Seagate) to replace my previous boot drive. I removed all of my other drives completely from the machine and hooked up the Seagate. For some reason DiskWizard (The tool that came with the drive) isn't letting me format the drive as NTFS. Why is this?

There is no reason to use the software tool that came with a hard drive. Just put your OS disc in and start the install. It will partition and format the drive.
