Seagate Rebate HD Serial Number location?

Do I have to take my HD out of the case to get the serial number? The Rebate Form states that I need to list the serial number of the
"Barracuda ATA IV 80GB Bare Hard Drive Serial Number". I was hoping that this is just the model number. Any ideas? If I take out the HD, where is it located? Could it be on the receipt. Sorry for the stupid question but I really don't want to open up my case again. Its Finals Week... no time.
