I came across this deal today while browsing for a new HDD for my Macbook Pro. The deal is for a Seagate Momentus 250GB 7200RPM laptop hard drive. The deal comes from Etech4sale.

For yesterday and today only, you can get $10 off of your order by using the coupon code etech10off at checkout. Additionally, if you use Google Checkout to place your order, you get an additional $10 off from that. With shipping (USPS Priority - $7.46) the total was $57.50.

I personally don't see a difference between hard drive brands... but Seagate has always treated me well and this deal was too good too pass up.

Note that the site says the warranty is 1 year. Normally, new Seagate drives have a 5-year warranty. I'd double-check on that before ordering.

Well, at other sites it says this drive has a 5 year warranty when it is bought new it'd be weird if it was different.

I went ahead and picked one up $56.85 shipped. I used USPS First class since I live in SF and it should be shipping out of Fremont.
