Hi all my first post due to not being able to get my seagate hard drive not working after being in storage. It has been well protected but when I got it out and plugged in the light at the top stays orange and will not change if I power up. It will not connect to the net or can’t see it when I try to plug in to the lap top model is sRN01C. Any help appreciated

That is a network attached storage device, if the configuation got corrupt you can press the reset button on the back (does not delete data) and reconfigure.

From my limited knowledge: When trying to re-use HDDs from a Seagate NAS I found they had some propriatary software(?) and could not be utilized, even to just try & grab data.

Did you have any luck?
