I've been in market for 1TB+ and keep finding Seagates priced to sell...
My problem is the reviews, all of seem to have several DOA or died within a month.
I'm replacing 2 dead drives, and dont wanna risk having another anytime soon.
WTF is up with 1TB+ drives nowadays....

I usually stay away from the Seagates myself kgokal. The My Passports seem to have a better life.

Seagtes do seem to die quick, but at least their support is pretty good, a couple years back i had a 160gb hd that died on me but was still covered under the 5 year waranty so i sent it out to be replaced and i received back a 250GB. Dont know if it was cause they didnt really make 160GB anymore or what the deal was but i thought it was pretty nice

Once SSD technology matures to the point where 1tb drives become reasonably priced, consumers won't have to put up with hard disk manufacturers and their their crappy hardware. Soon, I give it a couple more years.
