anyone know of a seagate version of the maxtor amset software?

I recently installed suse linux and it seemed to set my drives to performance mode :Q

I've set the maxtor back to quiet using amset but cant change the seagate, I wasnt aware you COULD change seagate settings!

I'm also quite wierded out that my discs changed settings!
(and doubtfull that a linux install would have done that but i havnt changed anything else)
