Seagate Cheetah

I remember back in the 90's the Seagate Cheetah was the fastest drive you could get. I bought a 4gb Cheetah SCSI back then for like $800... Where is the Cheetah today? I noticed on Seagate's website that it is a 15k drive now...

How come nobody talks about this drive these days?

EDIT:
Duh... nevermind... i accidentally misspelled it when I did the search...

ssd doesn't realistically scale as much as you think esp when you put longevity into the mix.

so yeah the cheetah 600GB 6G SAS drives are pretty fast when you have a bunch in raid 1+0
