Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 SATA noise levels

I got a Barracuda 7200.7 SATA 200GB to replace my old Barracuda ATA IV 80GB and the seek times are just outrageously loud compared to my older drive. Is there any way to reduce that seek noise levels? Some Seagate software which has controls for Fast / Quiet operation?
 
spcr's review of the cuda 7 couldn't find anything to set it. if anyone can, its seagate's utility.
