seagate barracuda 160gb.

im gettin my new system soon ( actualyl should be here tomorrow)..anyways, i got a seagate barracuda laying around, and was wondering, if i can use this, and a regular western digital in the same comp...would it be ok, or would the seagate, cause problems? the seagate is SATA rite?

ok i got a free 160gb seagate barracuda, and a free 80gb western digital, and i already own a 120gb w.d.

should i use the barracuda with a w.d hd, or should i just use both W.D harddrives? i really want the best performance.

It doesn't matter.

Do the connectors on the drives all look the same. The Seagate might be SATA but the connectors will be way different.

No, the Seagate and the WD drive will wage Ultimate Drive Wars over your SATA cables and set them on fire. In addition, the WD will increase its volume to attempt to jostle the Seagate's platters offline, causing a massive head crash.
