Seagate AST Tour Rebate

First time poster here so plz be nice. I came across this 10% rebate based on the MSRP of the drive for people who go to one of the stops along the Active Storage Tour that Seagate is doing. This combined with a PM could be a very good deal. I did a search and couldn't find anything so here it is:

I'm wondering if anyone has gone to one of these events, and what kind of rebate is it? Is it a rebate form that can be scanned and reprinted or does you have to go by to pick one up? The tour has already gone by my area but I'm hoping my friend in Houston can go by and pick one up for me . If anyone has any info or can go by the current stop on the tour plz let us know!

So does this mean that if I already own one of those drive, I can bring a receipt and get a voucher or something?

I think it's a rebate for future purchases, not if you already own the drive. Has anyone gone to one of these tour stops? Can you let us know what the rebate is all about?

Well if you get a rebate on each of those he's getting $1000 back. That'd be a sweet rebate check.
