I'm going on my 4th seagate in 5 month span. Everytime I replaced, it went in a different
computer so I know its not the maching killing it. These are the 20.4 gig drives, Seagate has been good about replacing, but its a pain the arse!
Whats up.

don't know, but i have been using one of them no problem at all for a year and a half and never less than 2-3 hours a day, so it should have exploded already were it deffective. to be honest the only real "potential problem" i've found on it is that it turns way hot, so if your systems are not adequately ventilated the problem could derive from that.
hope you'd have a good fourth one.
