Hello, Im going to buy a new hardisk and Im not sure about what would be better:
This one
http://www.sym.cl/product_info.php?products_id=1314"]DISCO DURO SEAGATE 250 GB 7200.10 SATA II 7200 RPM 16MB BUFFER

or 2 of these http://www.bymcomputer.cl/product_info.php?cPath=24_65&products_id=62"]MAXTOR 80GB/7200RPM SATA II 3GB/S

So my question is..what woulb be better, 2x80SATAII RAID0 or 1x250 7200.10rpm?

RAID0 vs a single SATAII disk? Is much better, but ive seen only benchmarks..what every day use?

and what about 7200.10 vs "normal" SATAII?
What would you recommend me?
Thx
Bz.
PS: guess where I live xD

you can read a bit about RAID 0 in some of the links in my thread... gist of it is: for most home users, the performance increase is small while the risk of losing data is huge.

the 7200.10 drives use perpendicular recording which is slightly faster than drives without it. unless you do very hard drive intensive tasks, the one drive would prob. suffice.
