Far cheaper on ebay via cashback. Can get it around $75ish or so.

Also never heard of that company before either, which is generally a mark against the deal.

$102 isnt anything special.

Personally, i would avoid buying electronics off ebay regardless of price/cashback. Case in point, recently purchased a extneral hd case from ebay.. the power supply and fan both arrived dead even though it was listed as new, now i have fight to get a refund.. not worth the hassle to deal with ebay ever again. Newegg has the same drive for $99.99. You won't get screwed. Just because its "cheap" at ebay, doesn't mean it's a good deal.

Well, yeah you buy from reputable people....and make sure it has a warranty. You just have to pick the right places to buy from.

I just bought a WD 640gb black off the buy.com seller on ebay. After cashback, it will be around $60ish and it arrived in 1 day and has 5 year warranty....

I generally dont buy much off ebay myself either though. Its fairly easy for a hard drive though cause you can check the warranty... id probably never buy a case on ebay unless its through a retailer seller or something.

You can get that same drive for $85 after Cashback from Tiger Direct...add something cheap to get $1.99 shipping.

Hmmmm, joined today, post 1 a link to an unknown site, avatar, not really a hot deal. Hmmmm.

In case I'm being too cynical:
No, newegg.com is a better place to buy, they have several 1 TB drives under $100 including the 5400RPM Spinpoint that will run a little cooler and quieter, perfect for storage.

Yeah, interesting how some people can't manage to find an item cheaper at newegg but manage to find it at some site nobody has ever heard of - not that I'm cynical either. :)
And I refuse to buy from any site that won't tell me how much shipping is until AFTER I give them all my information. Just isn't going to happen.

Is this a good deal? I don't seem to be able to find a better price anywhere else.

Also, has anyone dealt with them? I don't feel like getting screwed by an online retailer.

Thanks for any help.

Your store sucks. <--- this is threadcrapping.

BTW, did anyone else click "Contact Us"?
Funny that they want you to fill out a bunch of information and let them contact you at their own choosing...

No telephone numbers? Contact by email only?
Even a Nigerian scammer's website is better than this crap. <-- and so is this.

Not allowed. Don't do it.

Maybe you need to search before you open up your mouth.

Maybe, but did you look at the details? Exactly 2 "customer" reviews, both in November 2008. Hmmmmm.
