I'm buying a new IDE hard drive to install in an external enclosure. This will be strictly for backups. My main hard drive that I'll be backing up has only 50GB used so far. At Newegg I can get a

or a

Is the 5 year warranty and well known quality on the Seagate worth taking the 40GB storage hit for the same price?
