Seagate 120GB @ CC $40 after $60MIR

FYI this is a repost but...seeing as how other thread doesnt have any replies either..

YMMV

Pricematch to outpost.com for $65(FYI, tell them frys has it, dont say outpost.com)
$65
-$60MIR
=$5 before tax. 😛

yea...I posted it awhile ago, much earlier in the week...its all good, got one one tuesday...quite nice! And CC rebates are pretty reliable IMHO (knocking on wood)

I actually have two of these drives (got from best-buy two years ago for $60 each).
Best drives I've ever owned.

Too bad I can't fit any more PATA drives into my system... otherwise I would snatch a few of these up!

would this really work?

i found the link....but i called he customer service and they won't price match by phone and said try going into the store, but won't be for sure.

link fry's

yea im pretty skeptical when it comes to MIR. its like a surprise when i get them sometimes because they sometimes come 2 months later

called my local fry's they have it for $99.99......so when cc or bb calls to verify it won't work for me...🙁

My CC has never ever called for a pricematch. They are pretty dumb, just say frys has it for $65, dont say outpost.com. Itll work. I pricematch 20 times a month at cc.

If you havnt seen the other threads, theres a WD 160 on sale also, which is being pricematched to sams club for $79. And theres $70 in rebates = $10 before tax.

Theres also a 300gb seagate which you can pricematch to frys for $159(starting today 7/22) and theres $90 rebates on that. And, if you take the receipt and an officedepot coupon which is floating around for $30 off $150, back to the store, they will pricematch competitors coupons and give another $30 back. Which would make the 300gb drive like $37 or so before tax AR.

Just heads up on the 3 main circuitcity deals that end soon. 😛

i just did it but they only let me do it on one hard drive.. maybe ill make one of my friends buy one 😀

tried it at my local CC, they wouldn't do it. Manager wouldn't do it saying because its cheaper after rebate than Fry's $65.! 🙁
