I stumbled across this today on Seagate's website. A quick google search shows that buy.com has it for $199.99 although it's "Temporarily Sold Out."

Has anyone it in stock anywhere?

Yeah, buying excess hard drive capacity is usually a mistake, since the price is constantly dropping.

Niiice. I'm building a 15-drive storage server. Picked up 5 drives from Dell for $60 ea, Seagate 7200.11. Going to purchase the other 10 drives later when I need more space. Hoping for 1TB drives to drop to under $100 soon.

I'm using a ThermalTake Armor case, with Lian-Li EX-23 3-in-2 HD caddies (five of them). I'm also using three PNY S-Cure 5-port SATA1 PCI RAID cards. I realize my overall throughput will be limited by the speed of the PCI bus, but for the cost involved, I don't mind so much.

What kind of enclosure/setup are you running?
